About us
Gwop Getta was established in 2005. One of the first things people ask is, “What is a Gwop Getta?” Growing up, I always wanted more for my mom, myself and family, so I knew I had to work hard to achieve my dreams. There were times where I was working 2 or more jobs at a time because I didn’t just want to make ends meet – I wanted to get ahead.

The term “Gwop Getta” came from having a hustlers spirit. I was blessed to see my older brother and peers “Go Get It” at a young age. It means, “get money” or “money getter,” and it just stuck.

Gwop Getta Entertainment has grown into a music label and a clothing line. The company is heavily influenced by Urban music and fashion. A big part of our movement is about encouragement, empowerment, and wealth. Wealth means something different to everyone, but being rich (in some cases, more than just material things) and having an abundance mindset is a big part of what we believe. Everyone is a Gwop Getta, no matter what your career or passions are. Our slogan is, “Go Get It!” and we encourage ambition as well as entrepreneurship.
